When to use End Short Term Subscription Deactivation

Subscriptions and all their Services which are in an 'Effective' state can be deactivated for a short period of time. Once the Short Term Subscription Deactivation Action is executed, the End date for the deactivation is set. When the End date is reached, the System will automatically find and deactivate the Subscriptions.  The Subscription Action "End Subscription Short Term Deactivation" is available to force a Subscription out of its Short Term Deactivation period. In order to end the Short Term Deactivation, the user must execute the respective action and set the Subscription and all its Services as 'Not Effective'.

The Batch Process Using Take Subscriptions out of Resting Run Definitions is used to keep Subscriptions that come out of Short Term Deactivation and don't meet activation conditions deactivated.
