Product Types | Products are used by almost all CRM.COM modules. The behaviour of each Product within the System is derived by its Type. There are two basic Classifications of Product Types:
Both Types are broken down into further Types, according to their purpose. The table below provides all the different types of Products that are available and how each one may be used.

Product Validity | The Validity Period can be defined on a Product, determining the specific periods during which the Product can be selected and have entities such as Subscriptions, Jobs and Activities, added onto it. The following options are available:

Adding retail price to Products | The price of a Product is defined in a Price Plan and not the Products module.
Note: A Price Plan cannot be edited once added on a billable entity, .i.e. existing rates cannot be removed or updated. The Add Product action must be selected to add a new Product to a non-editable Price Plan. The same logic applies for Usage Service Products, but their price must be defined in the Usage Service Catalog. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Product Bundles | Product Bundles provide the user with the option to offer multiple Products packaged in a single Product. Customers benefit from the additional flexibility of customising their package by adding wanted Services.
