When to use Stop Services

Use Stop Services to disconnect selected or all of the Subscription's Termed Services. The effect of the Action is identical to Deactivate Subscription, but in this case, it is applied to individual Services.

The Action can be applied to ALL or to a selection of Subscription Services.

Stop Service
  • The Subscription should be owned by an 'Active' Accounts Receivable.
  • Active Subscription Definition rules are observed.
    • Subscription restrictions are observed. 
    • Subscription Service restrictions and dependencies are observed.
    • The restrictions and dependencies set by each Distributor on Subscription Services are observed.
    • The restrictions and dependencies set by each Distributor on Subscription Installed Items are observed.


  • The Action is available only if the Subscription Service is in an 'Effective' Life Cycle State.

 

 

  • Sets the Subscription Life Cycle State to 'Not Effective' if no other 'Effective' Services exist.
  • Sets the Life Cycle State of specified Subscription Services to 'Not Effective' if no other 'Effective' Subscription Services exist.
  • Binding End and Allowed Cancel Date extensions are applied based on the Normal Billing Term Scheme. 
  • Billing Directive is set based on the additional Billing Directives specified in the 'Active' Billing Term Definition.
