When to use Remove Services - Cancel

Cancel Service is used when a Termed Service is no longer required by the subscriber and they wish to remove it from their Subscription. When Subscription Services can be cancelled and whether penalties are applied is up to the organisation offering the Services, subject to its business rules.

The Cancel Service Action is a child of the Cancel Subscription Action. The difference between the two Actions is that while Cancel Subscription is automatically applied to ALL Subscription Services, Cancel Service provides the option to apply the cancelling to specific Subscription Services.

View Billing Term Definition for more information on validations and penalties that can be applied on the Cancel Service and Cancel Subscription Actions.

View the Information Table below for information related to the Scheduling, Preview Rating and Classification of the Subscription Action.  Check the Validations & Restrictions Table for a list of available Actions, including each Action's related validations, restrictions and a description of its system process.
View 'Using Subscription Action Modal' available in Managing Subscriptions for more information on executing the Action.

The Action can be applied to ALL or to a selection of Subscription Services.
