 Mandatory Configuration: Links to manuals of Products configuration modules that are required for the module to work correctly.
 Related Configuration: Links to manuals of configuration modules other than the Products's that offer additional functionality or are required for the module to work correctly.
 Optional Configuration: Links to manuals of Products configuration modules that offer additional functionality but are not required for the module to work correctly.
Mandatory Configuration
The following modules must be configured in order to use the Products:

Related Configuration
The following modules are related to, but are not a part of, Products. Such entities either:
- Must be configured accordingly in order to be able to start using the Products module (Configuration Type = Mandatory)Â
OR - May be configured to use the Products module at its full capacity (Configuration Type = Optional).

Optional Configuration
The following entities are available and can be configured under Products.  A working CRM.COM model can exist without them being configured.

Product Categories | Configuring Product Categories | Categories are used to classify Products into generic groups based on specific shared attributes. |
Product Brands | Configuring Product Brands | Product Brands are used to define trademarks or distinctive names that serve to identify a specific Product or a Product line. |
Product Families | Configuring Product Families | Product Families are groups of products derived from a common Product platform, using similar or identical production processes and having similar physical or behavioural characteristics. |
