Explaining Wallet Transactions  Fields

Name

Description

Number

An auto generated number that uniquely identifies each wallet transaction

Type *

The wallet transaction type, which determines the nature of each wallet transaction, based on the wallet transaction type classification. The supported wallet transaction type classifications are the following:

  • Credit
  • Debit
  • Reimburse
  • Void
  • Transfer - AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R9.0.0
Wallet *The related wallet

To Wallet *
Mandatory on conditions 

AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R9.0.0

The Wallet to which money will be transferred to.
Applies only if the Wallet Transaction Type is set to "Transfer"
Amount *The total amount of the wallet transaction
Extra Added AmountAn extra added amount that will affect the wallet balance on crediting the wallet, but will not be taken into consideration during various processes such as reimbursing the wallet or invoicing the related accounts receivable. This information is applicable only for credit wallet transactions
Voided byThe wallet transaction that voided a debit, credit or reimburse wallet transaction.
This is only available for voided transactions 
Life Cycle StateThe life cycle state of the wallet transaction that can be effective or voided
Allotments

A wallet transaction allotment is used to identify restrictions on how the wallet available amount, generated by wallet credit transactions, can be consumed. This information is available only for credit wallet transactions. Wallet transaction allotments consist of the following:

  • Allotment Amount
  • Consumption Validity Date
  • Set of Conditions
    • Product Conditions
    • Unit Conditions
    • Day Conditions
    • Time Conditions
Products

Wallet products are used to track the products that the wallet was credited or debited as part of a wallet transaction. Multiple products can be specified on each wallet transaction.

Log Information

Includes the standard log information, and in addition the following:

  • Process Name: The process that created the wallet transaction (for example manually, execution of prepaid billing run, payment posting etc)
  • Entity Name: The name of the entity that caused the creation of the wallet transaction (for example payment, subscription action, prepaid billing run etc)
  • Entity Value: The value of the entity that caused the creation of the wallet transaction

Creating a Debit Wallet Transaction

  1. From the top menu click on NEW > DEBIT WALLET TRANSACTION to open the Wallet Transactions  data entry page

  2. MAIN INFORMATION

    1. Provide information for the following fields
      1. Wallet: Search and add Wallet using quick search or search modal
      2. Amount: Provide an integer/decimal for the total amount
      3. Type: Select the type from the drop down list

      This section is informative for Debit Wallet Transactions
  4. PRODUCTS

    1. Click on ADD  and search for either a product or product type using quick search or search modal
  5. From the Action Menu click on SAVE
  6. LOG INFORMATION

    The following information is automatically set by the system on saving the Wallet Transactions

    Log information section keeps all the logging information related to the specific record

    • Basic set of information available in all entities
      • Created By User: The user that created the entity
      • Created By Unit: The unit of the user that created the entity
      • Updated By User: The user that last updated the entity
      • Updated by Unit: The unit of the user that last updated the entity
      • Date Created: The date the account was entity
      • Date Updated: The date the account was last entity
        LOG DETAILS

    Additional to the standard Log Information, Wallet Transactions also hold the following information, responsible to identify the process by which the wallet transaction was created

      • Process name: The name of the process that created the wallet transaction. In case of manual creation then the name will default to Manually
      • Entity name: This is in case that the creation was performed by the system, and this information will display the specific entity, for example Payment
      • Entity value: This is in case that the creation was performed by the system, and this information will display the specific entity number, for example the number of the Payment

Creating a Credit Wallet Transaction

  1. From the top menu click on NEW > CREDIT WALLET TRANSACTION to open the Wallet Transactions data entry page

  2. MAIN INFORMATION

    1. Provide information for the following fields
      1. Wallet: Search and add Wallet using quick search or search modal
      2. Amount: Provide an integer/decimal for the total amount
      3. Type: Select the type from the drop down list
      4. Product: Search and add product using quick search or search modal
      5. Transaction Date: Click on the Calendar icon and select the date
      6. Unit: Search and add Unit using quick search or search modal
      7. Unit Group: Search and add Unit Group using quick search or search modal
  3. ALLOTMENTS

    1. Click on ADD
      1. Amount: Provide an integer / decimal value for the amount 
        Total amount from all added records should match the amount added in Main Information section
      2. Validity Date: Click on the calendar icon and select a date, by which the amount could/should be consumed
      3. Conditions: Click on CONDITIONS to open Allotment Conditions and add restrictions to the specific amount

          1. Click on ADD  and search for either a product or product type using quick search or search modal
        2. UNIT CONDITIONS
          1. Click on ADD  and search for either a unit or group using quick search or search modal
        3. DAY CONDITIONS
          1. Click on ADD  and select the days of the week from the drop down list
        4. TIME CONDITIONS
          1. Click on ADD  and select From and To hours from the drop down list
  4. PRODUCTS

    1. Click on ADD  and search for either a product or product type using quick search or search modal
  5. From the Action Menu click on SAVE

Creating a new Transfer Wallet Transaction - AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R9.0.0

Visit Transferring Money Between Wallets to find out how you can transfer money between wallets via the Wallets page, as well as information related to validations and system processing.

 

  1. From the top menu click on NEW > TRANSFER WALLET TRANSACTION to open the Wallet Transactions  data entry page

Creating a Void Wallet Transaction

Void Wallet Transactions are created by using dedicate VOID action.
