R9 - Voiding Wallet Transactions

What are Void Wallet Transactions

A void wallet transaction is a type of wallet transaction which is used to cancel (reverse) a wallet transaction of type (credit, debit, reimburse, transfer) and make it non-visible to the wallet holder. A wallet void transaction is always related to the wallet transaction that it voids.
If the Void Transaction is to be created automatically then this will be defined in the Wallet Definitions

Validations & Restrictions

  • The wallet must be Effective
  • The wallet transaction has one of the following classifications:
    • Credit
    • Debit
    • Reimburse
    • Transfer - AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R9.0.0
  • The Wallet Transaction is not related with any other Void Transactions
  • The Wallet Transaction is not related with any Transfer Transactions - AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R9.0.0

Void Wallet Transactions

  1. Navigate to FINANCE APPLICATION > WALLETS > ACCESS WALLET TRANSACTIONS
  2. Search for the wallet transaction you would like to cancel
  3. Click on the number/name of the record you would like to access, to go to the Data Entry page
  4. From the Action Menu click on ACTIONS > VOID to open the Void Transaction modal

  5. Click on SAVE

System Processing 

When a Void Transaction is triggered in the system then the following occurs

  • Wallet Void Transaction is created
  • The wallet void transaction will refer to the wallet transaction that is voided and will have the same information with the voided wallet transaction, with opposite sign. 
  • AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R9.0.0 - When voiding a Transfer wallet transaction, its related Debit and Credit wallet transactions are also voided.
