Navigating to Lead Statuses

CONFIGURATION > CRM APPLICATION > LEADS > SET UP STATUSES

What are Lead Statuses?

Use Lead Statuses to define the Lead's Status and associated Life Cycle State.

  • Navigate to Lead Statuses and explore existing entries via the Summary page.  
  • Click on the link (Name or Number) of the entry of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail. 
  • Use the Actions Menu to create a NEW Lead Statuses, modify (EDIT) or DELETE  an existing one.  
  • Use the BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Lead Statuses.

  • Not Applicable
  • The Leads with the following Statuses are considered as Completed:
    • Lost
    • Won
Create
  • Mandatory Fields must be defined.
  • Multiple Lead Statuses can exist in the System, but each one should have a unique Name and Alternative Code. 
  • Not Applicable
Edit
  • Mandatory Fields must be defined.
  • Not Applicable
Delete
  • Leads Statuses cannot be deleted if they are already used by Leads which are still not completed or if they are included in the list of Allowed Statuses in one of the available Lead Types.
  • Deleted Lead Statuses are still visible on Leads which were created using those Statuses.

An * indicates a field is mandatory.

Name

Description

Main Information
 Name*The name of the Lead Status
Alternative code*An alternative code for the Lead Status. Unless otherwise specified, the codes for new Statuses default to the Status' Name initials in capital letters.
DescriptionA description of the Lead Status.
Life Cycle StateThe Life Cycle State that the Lead should automatically be set to if the Lead's Status is set to the specified Status. The supported Lead Life Cycle States are the following:
  • Pending
  • In Progress
  • Lost
  • Won
  • Cancelled AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R11.1.0
Log Information
Log DetailsThe standard set of Log Details information available in all entities.
