What are Job Statuses?
Job Statuses is a module whose function is to create statuses used on Jobs that are updated by users in order to advance the progress of a Job. Each status is related to a Life Cycle State, which is in turn updated by the System each time the status is modified. Validations and restrictions apply on Jobs depending on their current Life Cycle State. For more information, refer to the Validations and Restrictions Table in the Managing Jobs manual.
- Navigate to Job Statuses and explore existing records via the Summary page.
- Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail.
- Use the Actions Menu to create a NEW Job Status, modify (EDIT) or DELETE an existing one.
- Use the BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Job Status.
- Click on the Audit Log button to view a log of changes performed on the displayed Job Status.
