Navigating to Customer Event Classifications
CONFIGURATION > CRM APPLICATION > CUSTOMER EVENTS > SET UP CLASSIFICATIONS
What are Customer Event Classifications?
Customer Event Classifications is a system function used to split Customer Events into categories, enabling various business processes to apply different business rules to each Classification. The classification of Customer Events is only mandatory for Achievement and Financial Achievement Type Events.
- Navigate to Customer Event Classifications and explore existing records via the Summary page.
- Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail.
- Use the Actions Menu to create a NEW Customer Event Classifications, modify (EDIT) or DELETE an existing one.
- Use the BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Customer Event Classifications.
- Click on the Audit Trail button to view a log of changes effected on the Customer Event Classifications under examination.

Main Information | |
Name* | The name of the Classification |
Description | The description of the Classification |
Alternative Code* | The alternative code of the Classification which must be unique. Unless otherwise specified, the codes for new Definitions default to the Definition's Name initials in capital letters. |
Type* | Determines the type of Customer Events that can use the specific Classification. The Type can be one of the following:

Log Details | The standard set of Log Details information available in all entities |
