When to use End Subscription Resting
Use the Subscription Action "End Subscription Resting" to force a Subscription out of a Resting period. In order to end the Resting the user must execute the respective Action which:
- Terminates the Resting period
- Sets the Subscription and all its Services as 'Effective' or 'Not effective', depending on the activation conditions. For example, if the amount of debt of the customer exceeds that allowed by the Business (threshold), the Life Cycle State of the Subscription is set to 'Not Effective'.
A Subscription can be placed in Resting for a user-defined period of time. The Resting period is not billable (by default) unless otherwise configured by the System. When the Rest Subscription Action is executed an End Date is set which once reached, causes the System to reactivate the Subscription.
The Batch Process Using Take Subscriptions out of Short Term Deactivation Run Definitions is used to keep Subscriptions that don't meet activation criteria deactivated, once they come out of Resting.
