When to use Terminate Subscription
Terminate Subscription can either be used to 'Cancel' (the subject of this manual) or 'Regret' a Subscription and its services. The Cancel Subscription Action is used to cancel a subscriber's Subscription.

Terminate Subscription | - The Subscription is owned by an 'Active' Accounts Receivable.
- 'Active' Billing Term Definition Rules are observed.
- Cancellation outside binding or during binding Rules are observed.
| - The 'Action' is available only if the Subscription is in one of the following Life Cycle States:
- Draft
- Effective
- Not Effective
- In Resting
| - If the Subscription has any Actions scheduled after the cancellation they are deleted.
| - The Subscription Services are removed.
- The distribution of the Subscription Services and their related Provisioning Distributors are removed.
Provisioning Distributors are removed if there are no other Subscription Services or Installed Items distributed on them The Subscription Life Cycle State is set to 'Cancelled'. Cancellation penalties are applied as specified on the 'Active' Billing Term Definitions. - Any Actions scheduled after the Cancellation are deleted.
