When to use Become Subscriber

Become Subscriber is a Subscription Action which is used for creating a new Subscription from scratch. For a Subscription to be considered complete and ready for usage by the customer, the following Entities must be created.

The Become Subscriber Action allows the user to create all of the required entities simultaneously, without switching between screens. The Subscription can be created in either a 'Draft' or an 'Effective' Life Cycle State.  If the state is 'Draft' then the Subscription is created but not activated; if the state is 'Effective' the Subscription is also activated immediately.

Once the Subscription is created (either using Submit or Submit as 'Draft') the link to the created Subscription's Data Entry page is made available in Subscription tab which is available above the Contact Information tab. The tab is only available on creating a new Subscription.

View the Information Table below for information related to the Scheduling, Preview Rating and Classification of the Subscription Action. Check the Validations & Restrictions Table below for a list of available Actions, including each Action's related validations, restrictions, additional information and a description of its system process.
View 'Using Subscription Action Modal' available in Managing Subscriptions for a comprehensive description of the Subscription Attributes as well as more information on executing the Action.
