New Customer Rewards in CRM.COM are used to award new customers for signing up. In the following How to you will find out how you should set up the system in order to start awarding your new customer

Awarding New Customers

Sign up offer types are used to help leads turn into loyal customers.

Use sign up offers and award customers, for signing up to your reward program. Points awarded will be available for redemption by the customers, in any way they would like, given that you do not add any additional spend conditions.

Set up Reward Offer Type

First thing you need to do is to create Reward Offer Type, that will guide the behavior of the Reward Offers of this type.

Set up Reward Offer

Now that the Reward Offer type exists in the system, you can create as many different Reward Offers of the specific type as you would like.

Navigate to:

  • Rewards > Rewards > Manage Reward offers

Main InformationTypeBy selecting the type extra tabs will be loaded where you will be required to define conditions, if any, for awarding and spending money earned by the offer  
 Reward SchemeBy defining reward scheme you can, at a later stage, select specific schemes to be included in the Run that will generate the awards. (I.e it can work as a filter at the time of generating the awards)  
 AwardDefine the amount that should be awarded  
Offer Validity Define the time period for which offer is valid and will be awarded  
Award ConditionsSign Up Conditions

If enabled then the offer will be awarded to customers meeting the following conditions:

  • Have not been awarded by the specific offer before
  • Successfully signed up as a rewards participant
  • Have already been awarded, at least once
  
 Segment Conditions
  • Included in segment: 
    • A list of segments which are used to filter the customers that are allowed to be awarded.
  • Not included in segment:
    • A list of segments which are used to excluded the customer that are not allowed to be awarded
  
 Organisational Conditions A list of Groups or Units that can award the offer  
Spend ConditionsTime ConditionsDefine on which days and /  or at which time, the awarded offer can be spend.   
 Product Conditions Define the products that the awarded offer can be spent on.   
 Organisational ConditionsDefine the Groups or Units that the awarded offer can be spent on.   

 

Becoming a Reward Participant

Sign up means that you have been signed up in the system as a Reward Participant. i.e. You may already be a contact in the system as a customer, however in order to be eligible to get any awards you will also need to be registered as a Rewards Participant.

Define the address to be used as billing address

Participating Schemes Define the reward schemes that the rewards participant has joined and from which he will be eligible to the Reward offers that are provided via those schemes.
The sign Up date per scheme is taken into consideration when evaluating whether a participant will be awarded. 
(i.e. if a customer had a customer event that should be awarded by a reward offer that belongs to a scheme, but this event was created before the Sign up date to the specific scheme) then the customer will not get the award.
