Learn to set up Resource Scheduling related business processes and rules. 

 Mandatory Configuration: Links to manuals of Resource Scheduling configuration modules that are required for the module to work correctly.

 Related Configuration: Links to manuals of configuration modules other than of Resource Scheduling that offer additional functionality or are required for the module to work correctly.

Configuring Resource Scheduling DefinitionsDefine the set of Resource Scheduling business rules which will be used to create and maintain Resource Plans and Resource Requests throughout their whole Life Cycle.

Related Configuration

The following modules are related to, but are not a part of, Resource Scheduling. Such entities either:

  • Must be configured accordingly in order to be able to start using the Resource Scheduling module (Configuration Type = Mandatory) 
    OR 
  • May be configured to use the Resource Scheduling module at its full capacity (Configuration Type = Optional).

Activity Types

Configuring Activity Types

In Resource Requests Definitions you can define the Activity Types that will be allowed to request resources and determine the maximum number of resources that can be requested, either per Activity Service or per Activity.

In addition, you can define the Activity Types for which Resource Requests are mandatory as well as the conditions that will make the Resource Request mandatory for jobs.
