Applied Warranty Policies
Warranty Policies can only be applied via Jobs, however once applied they can be viewed on the installed item that has the warranty. Warranty Policies are available from 3 different screens
- Jobs
- Available as an Advanced filter in Summary Page
- Available in the Requested Physical Goods section in Data Entry Pages (Only if applicable)
- Service Requests
- Available as an Advanced filter in Summary Page
- Available in the Affected Physical Goods section in Data Entry Pages (Only if applicable)
- Installed Items
- Available as an Advanced filter in Summary Page
- Available in the Warranty Policy section in Data Entry Pages (Only if applicable)

Warranty Policy Related Fields in Jobs
The information is available under: Physical Goods > Requested Subscription Physical Goods tab and only for Swap Subscription Installed Item Jobs
Field name | Description |

Warranty Policy | Displays the item's related warranty name (Link to the Warranty Policy) |
Warranty expiration date | Displays when the item's warranty expires |
Coverage reason* | Displays the coverage reason |
Covered | Displays whether the item is covered (Yes /No) |

The information is available under: Physical Goods > Affected Physical Goods tab

Warranty Policy | Displays the item's related warranty name (Link to the Warranty Policy) |
Warranty expiration date | Displays when the item's warranty expires |
Coverage reason* | Displays the coverage reason |
Covered | Displays whether the item is covered (Yes /No) |

Warranty Policy Related Fields in Installed Items
The information is available under: Warranty Policy tab and only when the installed item has a warranty policy; even if this policy has expired
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Warranty Policy | Displays the item's related warranty name. (Link) |
Warranty expiration date | Displays when the item's warranty expires. |
Warehouse issue date | Indicates the stock out warehouse transaction date which was used to apply the installed item's warranty |
Additional information is available for items that have been swapped (replaced) by a new installed item via the Swap Subscription Installed Item job. These applies either for items that are moved back to a warehouse after replacement or remain on the customer.

Coverage reason | The coverage reason that was defined when the installed item was replaced through a job |
Warranty Policy | Displays the item's related warranty name - the warranty that was used during replacement |
