Navigating to Award Transactions

REWARDS > REWARDS > MANAGE AWARD TRANSACTIONS

Using Award Transactions

Award Transactions are used to award a Rewards Participant a sum of money from a Reward Offer, and credit the Rewards Participant's Wallet with that specific amount (if so defined by the Wallet Definition).
Award Transaction cannot be manually created.  They are generated by the execution of the Rewards Run Definition or by the submission of a Customer Event.

  • Navigate to Award Transaction  and explore existing records via the Summary page
  • Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail. 
  • Use BACK to return to the Summary page
  • Click on ACTIONS to discover other possibilities available for Award Transaction .

  • If the "On Award Transactions", in the "Active Wallet Definition's Causes Crediting Wallet" is 'Enabled', then a Wallet Credit Transaction is also created and associated with the Award Transaction. The products, date and time, and Unit/Group that are specified in the related Reward Offer's Spend Conditions, are used to set the Credit Wallet Transaction's allotments. Refer to Working with Wallet Transaction Allotments for more information.

  • Award Transaction's Life Cycle State is 'Posted'
 
  • If the "On Cancelling Award Transactions", in the 'Active Wallet Definition's Causes Voiding Wallet Transactions' is 'Enabled' then, each Wallet Transaction which is related to the Award Transaction will be voided as well.

Life Cycle StateThe Life Cycle State of the Award Transaction which can be 'Posted' or 'Cancelled'
Contribution Percentage AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R10.0.0The Contribution Percentage (of the Awarded Amount) to be paid by the Participating Merchant to your business.
Contribution Amount AVAILABLE FROM CRM.COM R10.0.0The amount to be paid by the Participating Merchant to your business calculated based on the Award Transaction Amount and Contribution Percentage 
Expiration DateDate by which the awarded amount is no longer available for spending (If not already spent).

The events that cause Award Transaction, of which there must be at least one

Rewarded Customer Events A list of Customer Events rewarded by the specific Award Transaction
Rewarded SubscriptionThe Subscription awarded by the specific Award Transaction
Rewarded Contact InformationThe Contact Information that was awarded by the specific Award Transaction
Wallet TransactionThe credit Wallet Transaction that was generated for this Award
Communications

Additional Actions for Award Transactions

Cancelling Award Expiration Transactions

  1. Navigate to AWARD TRANSACTIONS
  2. Search for the Award Transaction
  3. Click on the number/name of the record you would like to access, to go to the Data Entry page
  4. From the Action Menu click on ACTIONS > CANCEL AWARD TRANSACTION
