Undo Add Service

Undo Add Service is to be used when a service has been mistakenly added on the subscription and it has not yet been activated, i.e. the life cycle state is still draft.

 You have the option to preview upcoming subscriber bills/rates, directly from the subscription action modal window. You can use the process for both Normal and Prepaid Subscriptions. used to remove 'Draft' Termed Services that have mistakenly been added to a Subscription.

Undo Add Service

  • The subscription and subscription services Subscription Services are in life cycle state:
    • Draft
  • a 'Draft' Life Cycle State.
  • The 'Action' is available only if the subscription has Subscription is in one of the following Life Cycle States:
    • Draft
    • Effective
    • Not Effective
    • In resting
    • Short Term Effective
    • Short Term Not Effective

 

 

If Subscription service Service has any Actions scheduled actions, scheduled for after the undo, then they are deleted

 

Executing Remove Services - Regret

  • Navigate to BILLING APPLICATION > BILLING > SUBSCRIPTIONS > MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS
  • Search for the Subscription you are looking for, using the criteria section
  • Click on the Subscription number to go to the Data Entry page of the subscription
  • On the left hand side of the screen you can see the ACTION PANEL
  • Click on Subscription Service Related Actions
  • Find the action you would like to execute and click on the link to open the action details in a modal window

  • CLASSIFICATION

    1. Select: UNDO ADD SERVICE

  • APPLY ON

    1. All Services: Will automatically check all the services and add them under Subscription Services to be Removed
    2. Specific services: Check the services you would like to Stop.

  • PREVIEW ACTION PANEL

    1. Subscription Services to be Removed

      1.  Provides an overview of the services selected to be removed

    • SUBSCRIPTION ACTION DETAILS

  • Action Type: Select action type from the drop down if you have configured custom actions in the system, using the specific behaviour code
  • Sub Action Type: Select action type from the drop down if you have configured custom actions in the system, using the specific business classification code
    Action Type and Sub Action type are visible only if applicable
  • Performed By User : Search and add the user that logs the action 
    If you leave empty then the Logged in user will be set

  • Performed Date: Click on the calendar icon and select date and time

    • SCHEDULING INFORMATION

    Include PageScheduling Subscription action - GlobalScheduling Subscription action - Global
  • Click on SUBMIT
    Action will be validated as provided in the section above and submitted if validations are passed

    Once the action is submitted the following changes will be carried out by the system:

  • Specified subscription services are removed
  • The distribution of the specified subscription services and their related provisioning distributors is removed
  • Provisioning distributors are removed, if there are no other subscription services or installed items distributed on them
  • Subscription service life cycle state history is set to remove
    • Any scheduled actions, scheduled
    .
    • Specified Subscription Services are removed.
    • Provisioning Distributors that are no longer distributing any Subscription Services or Installed Items are removed.
    • Subscription Service Life Cycle State History is set to Removed.
    • Any Actions scheduled for after the cancellation are deleted.
