What are Financial Transaction Categories?
Financial Transaction Categories allow you to classify Financial Transactions into generic groups based on common attributes. Financial Transaction Categories follow a hierarchical structure.
- Navigate to Financial Transaction Categories and explore existing records via the Summary page. Financial Transaction Categories follows a hierarchical structure, with 'parent' rows linked to multiple 'children' rows directly beneath them.
- Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to open a modal window with the related details. Provide a name for the 'parent' to make that Category a 'child' or erase the parent name to make the Category a 'parent' itself.
- Either SAVE the changes or cancel (X) and go back to the Summary page.
- Create a new Category (ADD) or delete an existing one (REMOVE)
