Navigating to Activity Statuses

CONFIGURATION > CRM APPLICATION > ACTIVITIES > SET UP STATUSES

What are Activity Statuses?

Activity Statuses are used to define the state of a specific Activity. The allowed and default Activity Statuses are specified on the Activity Types

  • Navigate to Activity Statuses and explore existing entries via the Summary page.  
  • Click on the link (Name or Number) of the entry of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail. 
  • Use the Actions Menu to create a NEW Activity Status, modify (EDIT) or DELETE  an existing one.  
  • Use the BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Activity Statuses.

  • Mandatory Fields must be defined.
  • Multiple Activity Statuses can be configured in the System and each one is mapped with an Activity Life Cycle State.

  • Mandatory Fields must be defined.
  • Multiple Activity Statuses can be configured in the System and each one is mapped with an Activity Life Cycle State. 
  • Not Applicable
Delete
  • Not Applicable
  • Activity Statuses cannot be deleted if they are already used by Activities which are not yet completed or if they are included in the list of allowed Statuses in one of the available Activity Types.
  • Deleted Activity Statuses are still visible on Activities which were created using those Statuses.

 Attributes

An * indicates a field is mandatory.

Name

Description

Main Information
Name*The Name of the Activity Status
Alternative Code*The Alternative Code of the Activity Status. Unless otherwise specified, the Alternative Codes for new entries default to the Name initials in capital letters.
DescriptionA Description of the Activity Status.
Life Cycle State

The Life Cycle State that the Activity should automatically be set to, if the Activity is set to the specified Status. The supported Activity Life Cycle States are:

  • Pending
  • In progress
  • Completed
Log Information
Log DetailsThe standard set of Log Details information available in all entities.
