Using Spend Transactions

Spend Transactions are used to spend a specific amount of money, that was awarded by a Reward Offer, and debit the Rewards Participant's Wallet for that specific amount (if so defined in the Wallet Definition). In other words, Spend Transactions are the redemption of awards.
They cannot be manually created, but are generated by the execution of the Rewards Run Definition or by the submission of a Spend Request Customer Event.

  • Navigate to Spend Transactions and explore existing records via the Summary page
  • Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail.
  • Use BACK to return to the Summary page
  • Click on ACTIONS to discover other possibilities available for Spend Transactions.

Check the Validations & Restrictions Table below for a list of available Actions when working with Spend Transactions including each Action's related restrictions, validations as well as additional information.  View the Attributes Table for a comprehensive description of the Spend Transaction fields.
