Integrate your Twilio account with CRM.COM to send text messages to your contacts by following the steps below.

Sign up for Twilio

If you haven't already got a Twilio account, you can create one by navigating to their website.

Find your Twilio Credentials

Twilio automatically provides a set of credentials once you have signed-up and consists of your Account SID and Auth Token, they can both be found on your Console dashboard under Account Info.

Set up a Twilio Phone Number

To send messages using Twilio, you'll need a Twilio phone number. If you don't have one yet, you can obtain one by following the link on the Console dashboard. If you already have a phone number, you should be able to see it under Account Info on your Console dashboard.

Configure your Twilio Integration in CRM.COM

Sign-in to the CRM.COM back-end system and navigate to Navigate to Platform > Integrations. Select the Twilio integration from the Communications section.

Select Setup and confirm the default name for the Twilio integration or provide a new one > Proceed.

The Twilio integrations screen is displayed, select Manage to access the integration settings. This is where you need to enter your Twilio credentials and other configuration details:

  • Account SID - This is your unique string Identifier (SID) obtained from your Twilio account Console screen.

  • Auth Token - Your access token, also accessible from your Twilio Console screen.

  • SMS character limit - Set the maximum number of characters for your SMS messages. Any messages exceeding the specified number of characters will not be transmitted. Twilio recommends sending messages that are no more than 320 characters to ensure the best deliverability and user experience.

  • From - Your Twilio phone number, also found on your Twilio Console screen.

Save your configuration and Enable your Twilio integration.

Test the Integration

Configure and send a test message via CRM > Communication Plans to ensure the integration works correctly.
