If the Installed Item you would like to add is a bundle product (i.e. is made up of multiple physical goods) then there are additional validations and system processes to be carried out.
Validations and System Processing
Validations | - The physical good bundle is traceable
- The physical good bundle is available to be added on the subscription
- If the physical good bundle has any non traceable components then
- The physical good bundle should belong to a job owned by the subscription owner (i.e. adding the bundle through a Job)
|
---|
System Processing | - Adds specified installed items
- The fixed product bundle, and all of the installed items which compose the bundle will be added on the subscription as subscription installed items
- Adds related provisioning distributors, if they do not already exist
- Distributes the specified installed items to their related provisioning distributors
- The fixed product bundle, and all of the installed items which compose the bundle will be distributed to the same provisioning distributors
- Removes Installed Item from warehouse using a stock out warehouse transaction
- The fixed product bundle, and all of the installed items which compose the bundle will be removed from the warehouse but using the same stock-out warehouse transaction i.e. the components will be removed from the warehouse along with their main item and not individually.
- Updates the installed item history of both the main installed item and all of its component items
