What are Activity Cancellation Reasons?

Activity cancellation reasons are used to define the reason that an activity was cancelled, and is applicable only during the process of cancelling an activity. Cancellation reasons consist of the following:

Creating, Editing & Deleting Validations & Restrictions

Action	Restrictions	Additional Information
General	Multiple cancellation reasons can be configured in the system, and each one should have a unique name and alternative code.	The allowed and default activity cancellation reasons are specified on the active activity definitions.
Delete	Activity cancellation reasons cannot be deleted if they are already included in the active activity definition's allowed cancellation reasons.	Deleted cancellation reasons are still visible on activities that were cancelled using those cancellation reasons

Name	Description
Name*	The name of the cancellation reason
Alternative code*	The alternative code of the cancellation reason
Description	A description of the cancellation reason

Defining your own Activity Cancellation Reasons tailored to your company's needs

Navigate to Configuration > CRM Application > Activities > Set up Cancellation Reasons
Either search for an existing one or from the Top Menu click on NEW

1. Provide the required information
LOG INFORMATION
Log information section keeps all the logging information related to the specific record
- Basic set of information available in all entities
  - Created By User: The user that created the entity
  - Created By Unit: The unit of the user that created the entity
  - Updated By User: The user that last updated the entity
  - Updated by Unit: The unit of the user that last updated the entity
  - Date Created: The date the account was entity
  - Date Updated: The date the account was last entity
From the Top Menu click on Save

Deleting Activity Cancellation Reasons

Search for the entity that you would like to delete
Visit Using Summary Pages to find out how you can search using CRM.COM Summary Screens
Click on the link of the record you would like to delete, to be transferred to the Data Entry page
From the actions menu click on "DELETE"
The entity will be deleted given that the validations are satisfied
