Navigating to Reward Schemes

REWARDS APPLICATION > REWARDS > MANAGE REWARD SCHEMES

What are Reward Schemes?

Reward Schemes are used to group Reward Offers and keep track of customers participating in the Scheme which is thus eligible for the associated offers

  • Navigate to Reward Schemes and explore existing entries via the Summary page.  
  • Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail. 
  • Use the Actions Menu to create a NEW Reward Schemes, modify (EDIT) or DELETE  an existing one.  
  • Use the BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Reward Schemes
  • Click on the Audit Trail button to view a log of changes made to the Reward Schemes under examination

Validations & Restrictions

Create
  • All mandatory fields must be provided
  • Multiple Reward Schemes can exist in the system, but each one should have a unique Name and Alternative Code
Edit
  • All mandatory fields must be provided
  • Multiple Reward Schemes can exist in the system, but each one should have a unique Name and Alternative Code
Delete
  • Reward Schemes cannot be deleted if:

    • there are any customers (Rewards Participants) participating in that Scheme
    • if the Scheme has any 'Active' Reward Offers.

 Attributes

An * indicates a field is mandatory.

Name

Description

Main Information
Name*The name of the Reward Scheme
Alternative code*An alternative code for the Scheme. Unless otherwise specified, the codes for new Definitions default to the Definition's Name initials in capital letters.
DescriptionA description of the Reward Scheme
Life Cycle StateThe Life Cycle State of the Reward Scheme which can be 'Effective' or 'Not Effective'. Only 'Effective' Reward Schemes can be offered to Rewards Participants.
Reward Offers
Effective Reward OffersA list of 'Effective' Reward Offers provided by the specific Reward Scheme. Only 'Effective' Reward Offers can be provided to customers.
Not Effective Reward OffersA list of 'Not Effective' Reward Offers which were provided or which will be provided in the future by the specific Reward Scheme. Only  'Effective' Reward Offers can be provided to customers.
Allowed Organisational Units
Allowed Organisational UnitsThe Organisational Units that can select and assign the Scheme to other Reward entities, such as the Reward Participants (denoting their participation in the Scheme), or the Reward Offers (denoting the awarding of the Reward Offer, to participants of that Scheme)
Log Information
Log DetailsThe standard set of Log Details information available in all entities
