Apart from the CA/OTT platforms that CRM.COM is already integrated with, a generic provider available in the system allows an easy and quick integration to providers that are not directly integrated to CRM.COM. The generic provider follows the hybrid model, therefore every time a subscription action is executed a command is created to be sent to the CA/OTT platform. Further implementation is required to 

Using the generic provider requires further implementation in order to extract the provisoning commands created and send them to the CA/OTT platform and update CRM.COM with the response.

When setting up the provisioning provider the following extra sections are available

Provisioning Requests Settings

Define the method to be followed during a subscription's activation and deactivation. It can be applied on a single service or to the whole subscription.

Activation process covers the following subscription actions

  • Activate Subscription
  • End Subscription Resting
  • Short Term Activation
  • End Short Term Deactivation

Deactivation process covers the following subscription actions

  • Deactivate Subscription
  • Terminate Subscription
  • Rest Subscription
  • End Short Term Activation
  • Short Term Deactivation

Provider Physcial Goods Types 

ADD the physical good types as defined by the CA/OTT platform. These goods will be then mapped to CRM.COM physical goods in the Physcial Goods Mapping section

ADD the CRM Physical Good Type (filtered by the physcial goods added in the respective section) and map it to a Provisioning Provider Physical Good Type (filtered by the physical goods added in the respective section)
