When to use Extend Binding Period
When a contract is about to end, the subscriber Subscribers may choose to extend his their current contract . In this case when it is about to expire. To do so, the Extend Binding Period action Action should be used. The action will extend the contact by , which extends the contract by updating the Binding end End date of the customer, for a period of time defined by the user.

Executing Extend Binding Period
Navigate to BILLING APPLICATION > BILLING > SUBSCRIPTIONS > MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONSSearch for the Subscription you are looking for, using the criteria sectionClick on the Subscription number to go to the Data Entry page of the subscriptionOn the left hand side of the screen you can see the ACTION PANELClick on Subscription Related Actions to expand Find the action you would like to execute and click on the link to open the action details in a modal window

- UOT: Select the UOT for the binding extension. This can be

Binding Period: Read Only - The current Binding periodBinding Start: Read Only - The current Binding StartBinding End: Read Only - The date that the contract will expire. This - As only the Binding can be extended, only positive values can be used.
- Binding End: Set to the date on which the contract will expire (Read-only). It will be automatically calculated based on the current Binding
