When to use End Short Term Subscription Activation
In CRM.COM you are allowed to activate subscriptions and all its servicesSubscriptions and their Services, which are in state a 'Draft' or 'Not Effective for ' State for a short period of time can be activated.
Once When the Short Term Subscription Activation action Action is executed, the end an 'End date' is set . When the end date is which once reached, then the system will automatically find the subscriptions that should be deactivated and deactivate them.Subscription action, causes the System to track and deactivate the Subscriptions. The Subscription Action "End Subscription Short Term Activation" however, is available to users is available to force a subscription which is in Subscription out of its Short Term Activation period, out of it. In order to end the Short term activation Term Activation, the user will need to execute the related action that will terminate the short-term activation period and set the subscription and all its services as not effective.must execute the respective Action and set the State of the Subscription and its Services as 'Not Effective'.

Executing End Short Term Subscription Activation
Navigate to BILLING APPLICATION > BILLING > SUBSCRIPTIONS > MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONSSearch for the Subscription you are looking for, using the criteria sectionClick on the Subscription number to go to the Data Entry page of the subscriptionOn the left hand side of the screen you can see the ACTION PANELClick on Subscription Related Actions to expand Find the action you would like to execute and click on the link to open the action details in a modal window

- Sets the subscription service:
- life cycle state period
- bill effective date
- billable start period
- billing directives according to business rules
The sort term activation life cycle state period is updated by setting the end short term activation action as the action that ended the period' Life Cycle State. | - The Subscription Life Cycle State is set to 'Not Effective'.
- The Life Cycle State of all Subscription Services is set to 'Not Effective'.
- The following Subscription Service attributes are set:
- Life Cycle State Period
- Bill Effective Date
- Billable Start Period
- Billing Directives according to business rules
- The Short Term Activation Life Cycle State Period is updated by setting the End Short Term Activation Action as that which ended the period.
