Overview

Icareus Suite is an Overover-Thethe-Top top (OTT) TV platform that is used to stream streams content to subscription Videovideo-on-Demand demand (SVOD) or Transaction Video or transaction video-on-Demand demand (TVOD) based subscriptions. CRM 

CRM.COM provides a ready-made implementation with Icareus Suite, via of the Icareus Suite using the Icareus Provisioning module, which is primarily responsible for handling handles the activation and deactivation of signals transmitted to devices.  For example, when a new subscription is created in CRM.COM, the subscription is also created in Icareus Suite which is directly updated; the Icareus Suite is immediately updated and provisioning signals are sent to the subscriber 's device devices to activate the registered services.

Using Icareus

  • The Icareus implementation submits requests to the Icareus system at in real-time.
    • Subscription actions update the subscription provisioning state in CRM.COM and if associated with a change that should be also executed in Icareus.  If the modification should be reflected in Icareus, a request is constructed (using commands commands and sent  commands) and forwarded to Icareus.

No user intervention or further setup (other than that of the provider) is required for request exchange between CRM.COM and Icareus.

Scenario 1

Company ZX offers to its customer's customers the option to have multiple viewing points per for each subscription. This enables its customers to Customers can have a separate box and card in each of the rooms'box and card' pair in each room, and choose between having the same channels or different channels available through boxes . Solution

For each set of box and card that will be made available to subscribers, CRM.COM must have a different provisioning distributor available , in order to set the for each pair (box and card) offered to subscribers, as channel availability and restrictions per can be set separately for each box.
