is a Wallet Transaction Allotment?

A Wallet Transaction Allotment refers to the fund allocation from a wallet transaction to is the reservation of funds of a Wallet Transaction for use on specific products. 

• When defined on a Credit wallet transaction then it denotes In Credit Wallet Transactions, it designates the product FOR which the transaction money from the credit transaction should be allocated for. 
• When defined on a Debit wallet transaction, it denotes the product which the money from the debit transaction was allocated to.

Transaction allotment can either be done manually or automatically by the system.

System Processes that cause Allotting

The system will (automatically) set the wallet transaction allotments Wallet Transaction Allotments in the following cases:

Voucher Usage

• When a voucher which can be consumed only by specific products is used:a Voucher for a specific product is used,
  • If the voucher payment Voucher Payment is created 
    AND
  •  the option "On Payment Posting" for Crediting , is selected in the wallet definitions
    then a wallet credit transaction will be /wiki/spaces/WIP/pages/10008390,

 then a Wallet Credit Transaction is created for the amount

of the Voucher and a Wallet Transaction Allotment is added for each voucher specific product.

Prepaid Billing Run Execution

• When prepaid billing run a Prepaid Billing Run is performed and wallet the Wallet amount is consumed by specific products:,
  
  • If the option "During Prepaid Billing Run" for Debiting is selected in wallet definitions/wiki/spaces/WIP/pages/10008390
    AND
    
  • a product is consuming a specific wallet amount  amount (allotted) through the prepaid billing runPrepaid Billing Run, 
    AND
    wallet allotments exists for that product,
    then a debit wallet transaction will be Wallet Transaction is created for the consumed amount that has been consumed and a wallet allotment Wallet Allotment for that product and the its amount that the product is consuming will be added on the wallet transaction. The allotment amount that will be debited, cannot be greater than the available amount for that product.
     
  When the whole wallet balance (greater than zero) is reimbursed automatically:
  • If the whole wallet balance is reimbursed automatically, 
    then the reimburse wallet transaction will also include allotments for each product having an available consumption amountconsumed is added on the Wallet Transaction. 

Reimbursing

• When the total Wallet Balance is automatically reimbursed, the Reimburse Wallet Transaction will also include Allotments for each product (where applicable).

Award Reward Transaction Generation 

• When an award reward transactionan /wiki/spaces/WIP/pages/10008605 which can be consumed only by specific products, on a specific date and day of the week and by a specific organisational unit Organisational Unit is submitted:If the award reward transaction is submitted
  AND
• the wallet definitions Wallet Definitions "Causes Crediting Wallets" include the "On award reward transaction"Award Reward Transaction" 
  then a wallet credit transaction will be Wallet Credit Transaction is created for the amount that is specified on the award reward transaction,  and wallet allotments will be of the Award and Wallet Allotments are created for that amount and, each product, date and organisational unit specified in the related award offer will be added in the wallet allotment conditionssame amount.  All Spend Conditions defined in the Reward Offer, that granted the award are added in the Wallet Allotment Conditions.
