What are Activate Settled Subscriptions Definitions?
"Activate Settled Subscriptions" Run is used to retrieve settled, deactivated Subscriptions (i.e. Subscriptions whose bills are settled), in order reactivate them. Once completed all the Subscription Services of the Subscriptions included are activated, having the Life Cycle State of the Subscription and its Services set to Effective.
The Subscriptions to be reactivated are determined based on the following criteria:
- Subscription criteria defined in the Activating Settled Subscription Process
- Accounts Receivable criteria defined in the Activating Settled Subscription Process
- Activation Conditions defined in the Billing Term Definitions - Conditions to set as Effective
Run Definitions, must be submitted once created and will be executed once or on a recurring basis, based on the defined scheduling settings. Once a Definition is executed, a Process Run is logged, and once the Run is completed, the log information will be available on the respective tab.
The user has the option to delete the specific run as long as it is not yet executed (still in 'Draft' state).
For a Definition to be submitted it needs to have an 'Effective' Life Cycle State. The Life Cycle State can be changed between 'Effective' and 'Not Effective' using the dedicated action.
