Register a Stripe Card for an existing Customer

Business Requirement

An existing customer of ZX company wishes to change his account's payment preferences and from now on to start paying using Stripe.  


CRM.COM Solution

  • Configuration
    • Stripe Payment Gateway Provider is configured
    • Stripe Payment Method is configured and set as the payment method of Stripe's payment preference.
  • User Process
    • Agent navigates to the customer's current account
    • Stripe is selected under Payment Preferences
    • Agent is registering a Stripe card for the customer thus now the customer has a Stripe account as well
    • Agent must check the "Recurring Payments" so as to use the Stripe card every month for new payments
    • Once the account is saved then the new card is validated by the Stripe system and either accepted or rejected
