Navigating to Reward Offers

What are Reward Offers?

Reward offers Offers are used to define an amount of money that will be awarded based on customer events, and/or the conditions specified on each reward offer. Reward offers also define the spend conditions such as on what products and to which organisational units the cashback can be spend. There exist various types of Reward Offers that you can set up in the system, each one offering you different award and spend conditions. According to the type selected the related Rewards Award and Spend conditions will be loadeddetermine amounts of money awarded for Customer Events or any other awarded actions of Reward Participants and to specify the conditions for awarding amounts and for spending the awarded amount.  The conditions can limit the redemption of awards to specific products and at particular Organisational Units (merchants).

Various Reward Offer Types can be set up in the System using different Reward Offer Classifications, each one offering different Award and Spend Conditions.

  • Navigate to Reward Offers  and and explore existing records via the Summary the Summary page
  • Click on the link (name Name or numberNumber) of the record of your interest to enter the Data Entry page and see more detail. 
  • Use the Actions Menu to create a create NEW Reward Offers Offers, modify (EDIT) or DELETE an existing one. 
  • Use PRINTOUTS (if available) to extract or email information related to Reward Offers  to the customer. Use BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Reward Offers. 
  • Click on ACTIONS to discover other possibilities available for Reward Offers.
  • Click on the Audit Trail button to view a log of changes done modification performed on the displayed Reward Offer you are looking at.

Check the Validations & Restrictions Table for a list of available Actions when working with Reward Offers  including including each Action's related validations and additional information of its system process.

  • All mandatory information must be provided.

  • The Life Cycle State of a Reward Offer can be 'Effective' or 'Not Effective'. Only 'Effective' Reward Offers can be offered to Rewards Participants. By default, new Reward Offers are created as 'Not Effective' and are therefore not immediately available to Rewards Participants.

Additional Actions for Reward Offers

Changing Life Cycle State 

The Life Cycle State of a Reward Offer, can Reward Offer can be changed from 'Effective' to 'Not Effective' and vice versa, in order to control determine when the specific reward Reward Offer will be used for awarding. The Life Cycle State can be set using an action Action which is available via from the Data Entry Page 

Navigate to the Reward Offer you would like to change the life cycle state

page.

  1. Navigate to REWARD OFFERS.
  2. Search for the offer you would like to updateClick on the record you would like to change its life cycle state, to access its Data Entry Page From Offer that has to be updated and click on its number to access the Data Entry page.
    1. From the Action Menu click on ACTIONS > SET AS EFFECTIVE OR SET AS NOT EFFECTIVE depending on its current state.
  3.  The life cycle state Life Cycle State is automatically updated to 'Effective / ' or 'Not Effective respectively given ' provided that the validations are satisfiedpass.

Creating Reward Offers using Templates

Reward Offer Templates can be used only when creating a new Reward Offer. The template is responsible for copying the template's Reward Offer configuration is copied to the newly created Reward Offer. This functionality is available only when creating a new Reward Offer.   Once saved, the Reward Offer will not be affected by any other future changes on to the Reward Offer Template based on which it was initially createdbased.

  1. Navigate to REWARDS OFFERSSearch using the criteria available in the summary pageREWARD OFFERS.
  2. From the top menu, click on the on NEW to open the Rewards Offers data entry pageReward Offers Data Entry page.
  3. MAIN INFORMATION 

    1. Name
    2. Alternative Code
    3. Reward Scheme: Search and select the Scheme that the offer Offer will belong to
    4. Template: Select the Reward Offer Template Template.

      Once a Reward Offer Template

      Once a reward offer template is selected, all the information configured at on the template are Template is carried overUsers are able to further amend the new Reward offer's information by modifying the information copied from the Reward Offer Template. Once the template is copied to a new Reward Offer, users can modify the information on the newly created Reward Offer.

  4. Proceed with providing the rest of the values as required or modify the existing information as per to match your business needsrequirements.

  5. From the Action Menu click on SAVE.
