What are Reward Offers?
Reward offers Offers are used to define an amount of money that will be awarded based on customer events, and/or the conditions specified on each reward offer. Reward offers also define the spend conditions such as on what products and to which organisational units the cashback can be spend. There exist various types of Reward Offers that you can set up in the system, each one offering you different award and spend conditions. According to the type selected the related Rewards Award and Spend conditions will be loadeddetermine amounts of money awarded for Customer Events or any other awarded actions of Reward Participants and to specify the conditions for awarding amounts and for spending the awarded amount. The conditions can limit the redemption of awards to specific products and at particular Organisational Units (merchants).
Various Reward Offer Types can be set up in the System using different Reward Offer Classifications, each one offering different Award and Spend Conditions.
- Navigate to Reward Offers and explore existing records via
the Summary - the Summary page.
- Click on the
number - link (Name or Number) of the record of your interest to enter
the Data Entry page and have a better look of the available information or submit the definition. Use the Actions Menu to create a new (NEW) Reward Offer. Firstly select the Type of the Reward Offer you would like to create or the Template Status |

, provide the dates for which the reward will be valid under OFFER VALIDITY and the period up to which any awarded rewards will be valid under REWARD AWARD VALIDITY. Proceed with AWARD and SPEND CONDITIONS as explained in the table of each Reward Offer Type. Once the Reward Offer is created, needs to be set as effective if you would like to start using it. The life cycle state can be changed between Effective and Not Effective using the dedicated action. Modify (EDIT) or delete (DELETE) an existing one. Use the (BACK) link to go back to the summary page and (CANCEL) to cancel - the Data Entry page and see more detail.
- Use the Actions Menu to create NEW Reward Offers, modify (EDIT) or DELETE an existing one.
- Use BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the
definition. Check out the attributes table of each of the Reward Offer types (found at the respective manual pages) for a thorough explanation of the information kept for each Reward Offer Type and the Validations&Restrictions table to find out validations and restrictions applicable when working with Rewards. - Reward Offers.
- Click on ACTIONS to discover other possibilities available for Reward Offers.
- Click on the Audit Trail button to view a log of
changes done - modification performed on the

Additional Actions for Reward Offers
Changing Life Cycle State
The Life Cycle State of a Reward Offer can be changed from 'Effective' to 'Not Effective' and vice versa, to determine when the specific Reward Offer will be used for awarding. The Life Cycle State can be set using an Action which is available from the Data Entry page.
- Navigate to REWARD OFFERS.
- Search for the Offer that has to be updated and click on its number to access the Data Entry page.
- From the Action Menu click on ACTIONS > SET AS EFFECTIVE OR SET AS NOT EFFECTIVE depending on its current state.
- The Life Cycle State is automatically updated to 'Effective' or 'Not Effective' provided that the validations pass.
Creating Reward Offers using Templates
Reward Offer Templates can be used only when creating a new Reward Offer. The template's Reward Offer configuration is copied to the newly created Reward Offer. Once saved, the Reward Offer will not be affected by any other future changes to the Reward Offer Template on which it was based.
- Navigate to REWARD OFFERS.
- From the top menu, click on NEW to open the Reward Offers Data Entry page.

Once a Reward Offer Template is selected, all the information configured on the Template is carried over. Once the template is copied to a new Reward Offer, users can modify the information on the newly created Reward Offer. |
- Proceed with providing the rest of the values as required or modify the existing information to match your business requirements.
