is the Contact Information Uniqueness Rule?

Uniqueness Contact Information Uniqueness Rule allows you to define the contact information attributes that should be unique within CRM.COM. If  If more than one attributes are attribute is defined, then the combination of the fields must be unique within the system.

  • Company Uniqueness Rule

Contact Person Validations

There are 5 available The five fields that may can be used for creating an Information Uniqueness Rule Rules for Contact persons are:

  1. NameSocial Sec. No.
  2. ID No.Number
  3. Passport No.Number
  4. Social Security Number
  5. Related Organisational Unit

 You can create various combinations using these fields. Below are some examples of Uniqueness Rules you could set up:

  1. Option A: If Contact Name, Social Security No.Number, ID No.Number are specified in the Rule, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same Contact Name, Social Security No., ID No valuesNumber and ID Number combination
  2. Option BIf only Contact Name, Social Security No.,If Name and Social Security Number are specified, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same Contact Name , and Social Security No. valuesNumber combination
  3. Option C: If only Contact Name is specified, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same Contact Name value
  4. Option D: If only Contact Name, ID No. are specified Name and ID Number are specified, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same Contact Name , and ID No. Number values

Contact Company Validations

There are 2 available The two fields that may can be used for creating an Information Uniqueness Rule for Contact Companies are:

  1. Name
  2. VAT Reg No.Registration Number

You can create 3 combinations using these fields. Below are some examples of possible Uniqueness Rules you could set up:

  1. Option A: If Name Name and VAT Reg NoRegistration Number are specified in the Rule, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same Company name and VAT Reg NoName and VAT Registration Number combination
  2. Option B: If only Name is specified, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same Name.
  3. Option C: If only VAT Reg NoRegistration Number is specified, then no other contact information should Contact Information can exist with the same VAT Reg No.same VAT Registration Number
