What are Buy In Advance Definitions?
Buy in Advance definitions is a set of business rules In Advance Definitions are used to control the behavior of Buy in Advance throughout their whole life cycle. Via the definition, you can define the length determine the duration for which Buy in In Advance requests Requests can be submitted , while having the option to define conditions conditions can be defined for each allowed defined period.
Creating, Editing & Deleting period.
Buy In Advance definitions can be edited, deleted and have their Life Cycle State changed given that Validations & Restrictions are met.
- Navigate to Buy In Advance Definitions and explore existing records via the Summary page.
Click on the link (name or number) of the record of your interest to access the Data Entry page and see more detail, or submit the Definition.
Use the Actions Menu to create a NEW Definition, modify (EDIT), or DELETE an existing one.
Use BACK to return to the Summary page and CANCEL to revert any unwanted changes made to the Definition.

Defining your own Buy in Advance Definition tailored to your company's needs
Navigate to CONFIGURATION > BILLING APPLICATION > BUY IN ADVANCE > SET UP BUSINESS DEFINITIONSEither search for an existing one or from the Top Menu click on NEW

MAIN INFORMATION
Provide required information
Name: Type a name
Alternative Code: You can leave empty
- Life Cycle State: Will be automatically set by the system
REQUEST SETTINGS
- Click on ADD to add a new empty record
- Allowed Duration
- From: Type a number (integer)
- To: Type a number (integer)
Both From and To are inclusive. - UOT: Select the UOT. Can be
- Subscription Type
- Click on SET SUBSCRIPTION TYPES to open modal where you will be allowed to add the subscription types for which the buy in advance periods defined will be applicable
- Click on ADD and find the subscription types by using the search modal
- Once you add all the subscription types you want click on SAVE to close the modal and return to Buy in Advance page
