is Stripe

is a Stripe Payment Gateway Card?

A Stripe Payment Gateway Card allows customers to make payments online and handles the transfer of funds from the customer's to the seller's bank account.  The card needs to be registered to a payment gateway, which in this case is Stripe.  The only part of the information required to register the card with Stripe is kept in CRM.COM, for security purposes.............. 

Cards are registered via the Accounts Receivable module.

  • Navigate to PATH
  • Restrictions
    Create
    •  Not applicable
    • Your company must have an Active Stripe account
    • The Stripe Payment Method is configured in the system and included in Stripe Payment Gateway Provider
    Save
    • Mandatory fields must be defined
    • Correct card information must be provided
    Note

    Information is sent to Stripe on saving the Accounts Receivable

    • Each card can be related to only one Accounts Receivable Payment Preference
    • Each Accounts Receivable Payment Preference can be related to multiple cards.

    The following information is requested to register a new card in Accounts Receivable.

    An * indicates that submitting the information is mandatory

    Name

    Description

    Use for Recurring PaymentsIf enabled; then the registered card will be considered by the Stripe Payment Gateway Run to pay unsettled bills allocated to the Accounts Receivable.
    Number*The card's 16-digit number
    Expiration Month*The month of the year on which the card expires and has a value ranging from 1 to 12
    Expiration Year*The year on which the card expires. It is a 4-digit number which can range from the current year to the next 20 years
    Card Security CodeThe card's 3-digit number security code
    Card Holders NameThe name provided by the card holder when registering the card

    Register a Card in the Stripe Payment Gateway 

    1. Navigate to MANAGE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
    2. Search for an existing or create a new Accounts Receivable
    3. Click on the number/name of the record you would like to access, to go to the Data Entry page
    4. From the Action Menu click on Actions > "Suspend Account"

    1. Click EDIT and chose Payment Preferences 
    2. Select STRIPE PAYMENT from the available Payment Preferences
    3. Check whether or not to Use for Recurring Payments
    4. Click on REGISTER CARD to register a new card (Provide the information requested in the modal window)
    5. Click on SAVE
    6. Select DEFAULT to specify a card as the default Stripe Payment Gateway Card
