Fingerprinting Runs runs are used to detect piracy;:
- The runs identify subscriptions that are not abiding by to the contract agreement (ie.eg., the subscriber signed up for as a home subscription user and is using it the subscription for a public viewviewing) .
- The runs identify subscribers that users that do not have a subscription and are using it illegally (no subscription at all)one illegally.

Fingerprinting sends a message to the subscriber which is visible that is displayed on the screen . The physical presence of an employee at the location being checked is required of the subscriber. An employee must be on location to confirm whether or not the subscription is legal or not. |
