What are Inventory Management Definitions?
Inventory Management Definitions is a set of business rules used to control the behaviour of Inventory Management throughout their Life Cycle. In particular, through Inventory Management Definitions you have the option to define the Warehouse Types from where throughout its Life Cycle. The Warehouse Types that Physical Goods will be retrieved from or moved back to when used either on Jobs or Subscriptions can be defined through Inventory Management Definitions. For each Warehouse Type, a Classification must be defined determining the Type of Sale that the Physical Goods of the Warehouse will be available for.
There are three Classifications:
- Rentals: Used for Installed Items in Subscriptions that are not purchased by the customers and must be returned when the Subscription is terminated.
- Direct Sales: Used for Installed Items that are sold through Jobs and are extracted from Warehouses that belong to the business. The customers get billed for the Physical Good through CRM.COM, and it does not have to be returned after the customer stops cooperating with the business.
- Indirect Sales: Used for Installed Items that are sold through Jobs and are extracted from Warehouses that belong to a business partner. The customers do not get billed for the Physical Good through CRM.COM, and it doesn't not have to be returned after the customer stops cooperating with the business.
