What are Applied Additive Discounts
As explained in Understanding Additive Discounts there 2 types of additive discounts (Ad Hoc and Auto Apply) that can be applied to 2 different modules (Subscriptions and Jobs).
Ad Hoc discounts have a dedicated screen (Manage Ad Hoc Discounts) from where they can be viewed, edited, cancelled and approved. In addition, Ad Hoc discounts can be viewed via Subscription and Jobs Data Entry pages apart from the dedicated screen.
Auto Apply discounts on the other hand, are not available in the system till after Billing and they are not available via the Manage Ad Hoc Discounts page.
Once an Ad Hoc or Auto Apply discount is included in Billing and applied on either a Job or a Subscription, then they are labelled as Applied, and they are available from Jobs and Subscriptions Summary pages and Rated Billing items Summary and Data Entry pages.
The table below shows from where each discount is available to be viewed.
