Contact Information Industries attributes 

Industries are used to define specific segments of the economy that share highly similar business activities. Usually the number of industries that are defined can be in the hundreds, as each industry can be broken down into more specific industries. Therefore Industries have a hierarchical tree structure. Industries can be used as information in both companies and persons.

Industry Sectors can be used for Contact information (Person & Company)

Defining your own industries tailored to your company's needs

1. Navigate to PATH
    Either search for an existing one or from the Top Menu click on NEW
    

2. MAIN INFORMATION

3. LOG INFORMATION

Include PageWIP:Log Information - GlobalWIP:Log Information - Global
4. From the Top Menu click on Save

Deleting Contact Information Industries

1. industry of the entity which is found in the Module Configuration section
2. Click on Expand All to look at the tree structure and all available industries

3. Creating a new industry

   Follow the steps below In order to add a new industry

   1. From the industries summary screen page click on "Add"
   2. Add industry modal will open where you will provide the required information

      1. Parent: You can search for existing industries to set as parents to the new industry that you are adding.
         If you don't add anything then the new industry will be added as a Parent
      2. Name
      3. Code
      4. Description
   3. Click on "SAVE" to close the modal
      
      

4. Modifying a industry

   Follow the steps below In order to modify an existing industry:

   1. Click on "Expand All" to see all the defined industries
   2. Click on the name of the industry you would like to update

   3. The edit industry modal will open, where you can update the industry information, change the parent, or remove the parent

   4. When you are done click on "Save" to close the modal
      
      

5. Deleting a industry

   Follow the steps below In order to delete an existing industry:

   1. Click on "Expand All" to see all the defined industries
   2. Click in the checkbox located at the left hand side of the industry you would like to delete

   3. Click on "Remove"  found at the top of the tree structure
