What are Access Tokens?
Access tokens are used to identify a customer, user or app that can access CRM.COM and authenticate them while accessing the system. Access tokens can be created automatically by the system or manually through the UI or the Web API.

Creating Access Tokens Through other Modules | The System provides the ability to create Access Tokens through the following modules as well:
Users have the ability to select or create the access token which is used to identify and access the rewards participant information. The user identifier and pass code are mandatory depending on the related definition configuration, while the authentication code is generated automatically by the system on saving the participant. Updating Access Token Life Cycle State | CRM.COM allows you to change the life cycle state of an existing Access Token. The life cycle state can change from Effective to Not Effective and vise versa. Visit Updating Access Token Life Cycle State for more information. |

Network Characteristics define the level of access for each record. i.e., whether it will be available for selection, for viewing or editing etc.
