What are Rewards Definitions?

Rewards definitions is a set of business rules used to control the behavior of Rewards throughout their whole life cycle.

  • Multiple Rewards definitions can exist in the system, but each one should have a unique name and alternative code
  • Only one active Rewards definition can exist at any given time
  • If no active Rewardsdefinition Rewards definition exists, then no Rewardscan Rewards can be created

    • Allowed Types

Rewards Definition attributes 

Name

Description

 NumberNumberAn auto generated number that uniquely identifies the accounts receivable definitions
 NameName*The name of the definition
 Alternative Alternative code*An alternative code for the definition. On creating a new definition it defaults to the first letter of each word included in the name (in Capitals), if nothing else is specified
DescriptionA description for the definition
StateThe state of the definition which can be active or inactive. Only one active definition can exist at any point
  
  
  
Allowed Reward Offer Types*It defines which of the pre-configured reward offer types will be available for selection when creating a new reward offer. Multiple types can be selected, but at least one reward offer type should exist

Defining your own Rewards Definition tailored to your company's needs

  1. Navigate to PATH
     
  2. Either search for an existing one or from the Top Menu click on NEW
    REWARDS DEFINITIONSImage Added
     

  3. MAIN INFORMATION

    1. Fill out the required information. Mandatory fields are marked with asterisks ( * )

      1. Name

      2. Alternative Code

      3. Description


  4. ALLOWED TYPES 

    1. Click on ADD and using the search modal add the types you would like to make available to add on a reward offer 

  5. LOG INFORMATION
