What are User Templates?
User templates have similar structure with Users, and hold information which is not personalized and therefore it can be applied to multiple users. CRM.COM Software allows you to create a User Template through User Management Module.

User Templates attributes
Name | Description |
---|---|
Template name* | The name of the template |
System language* | The language that should be used by CRM.COM UI whenever the user is accessing the system |
Native Language | The supported options include all languages supported by CRM.COM and the Organisation Native Language which is set in General Settings (as provided in Platform) and is the default option. |
Country of residence | The country the user resides at |
Preferences* | The preferences of the user which include the following:

Settings* | The settings of the user which include the following:
|
Units | A list of units that the user belongs to. The user can belong to more than one unit, but at least one unit should exist (and should be set as the default one) |
Defining your own User Templates tailored to your company's needs
- Navigate to FOUNDATION > USER MANAGEMENT >SET UP USER TEMPLATES
- Either search for an existing one or from the Top Menu click on NEW
MAIN INFORMATION
Provide all the required information
- State
- Template Name
- System Language
- Native Language
- Country of Residence
PREFERENCES
Default Home Page: Select the landing page for the users created using the template
SETTINGS
Security Profile: Provide the security profile of the user
Superuser & Developer: Check the boxes where applicable
UNITS
- Click on the Add button ADD
- From search modal, search for available units to add
- Select and add the record you would like to add
- Default: Once all units are added, select the default one.
Check Understanding User Management for more information on multi units on a user.
- From the Action Menu click on SAVE
LOG INFORMATION
The following information is automatically set by the system on saving the User Management
Include Page Log Information - Global Log Information - Global - From the Action Menu click on SAVE
